Kaiser Cover Up Continues
I just noticed that the Systems Diagrams pages that were indexed by the Internet Archive have been removed. The indexed pages contained no patient information, so they were removed just because Kaiser insisted. I have a couple of screenshots, which will hopefully be enough to establish to the Court that they were on a public web site and indexed by search engines. The entry for docviewer.tripod.com, along with the dates, is, luckily, still there.

However, this makes it harder for me to show people that Kaiser's spin doctor Schiffgens is lying through his teeth when he goes around saying that it was impossible to "Google up" the Systems Diagrams. Before, I could just point to the Internet Archive and say, "Look for yourself."

I've also been wondering why the Office of Civil Rights hasn't gotten back to me on the violation of the whistleblower provision of the HIPAA Privacy Rule that occured when Kaiser A) tried to shift liability by blaming me, B) levelled a false accusation in order to shift the blame, C) revealed their own failure to investigate the original HIPAA complaint in levelling the false accusation, and D) engaged in nuisance litigation to punish me (as well as seize the evidence and generate a public record that can be used to shift liability should any of the victims bring their own lawsuit)and discourage anyone else from engaging in whistleblowing activity. Where is the OCR?

Someone pointed out to me that Peter Grant, Partner and Co-Chair of the Health Law Group of the firm that Kaiser hired to persecute me (i.e. the boss of the Kaiser attorneys), has a personal relationship with Richard Campanelli, Director of the Office of Civil Rights. Campanelli is apparently a regular keynote speaker at Grant's National HIPAA Summits. People who follow my blog might remember my previous complaint about Grant blocking my attempt to communicate with presenters at the HIPAA Summit to keep them from becoming heralds for Kaiser's propaganda.

Before all this happened to me, I used to roll my eyes at conspiracy theories. Now I think differently. The press spreads Kaiser's key messages and just ignores factual corrections. State agencies do Kaiser's bidding without taking a pause over the rights of citizen, their jurisdiction, or the consequences of issuing a press release based on a false accusation. The judge for the state agency ignores the violation of a settlement. The director of the agency that's supposed to be enforcing whistleblower protection is a personal acquaintance of the boss of the Kaiser attorneys. Kaiser claims to be in close communication with the OCR, so obviously the phones aren't broken. Neither the Governor's office or the Attorney General are bothering to step in. I'd bet anything that while I'm waiting for all the people who are supposed to be upholding the public good here to just get back to me, they are all making informal calls to each other to figure out how they can all save face at my expense. What level of proof does there have to be to establish conspiracy?

But I guess the greater question is, why is there nothing here that would inhibit a conspiracy. All the players here now have a vested interest in Kaiser trampling me. I see no one with an interest in seeing justice done or protecting an individual against the massive abuse of power.
